It's a little blurry, but it's 15:1 odds, bought it back in July.

So do they just have to make the game or win it?

i want to bet for us against cu but i'm nervous. i told my bro to take the bet against utah state and he didn't. he took louisville and arkansas that week instead. i told him not to. they both lost. i never want him to bet for oklahoma now.

.....first post. whatever.

That trend won't end.

A shame you didn't put a few grand on it...you could buy us all tickets to next year's game!

15:1 in July to win it?!

Gadzooks! That's practically being a favorite. And we didn't have a qb back then, either.......

What what USC 1:1 or something?

In the summer of 2000, my brother and I were in Vegas. We decided to put money on OU to win the MNC. Treasure Island (at least at that time) said they didn't take NCAA bets because of UNLV, so no bet was made.

If they can make it to game or better yet win the NC game, you can see the MNC game comming since there are fresman and sophomore making up the team.

Can you take the other side of those bets, obviously with some juice? So if OU went off at 20/1, could you put up, say $25 on OU not to win the championship to win $1?

If so, I need to borrow about a bajillion dollars. I see ND is still at 500/1 according to Vegas Insider. If I mortgage my house, clean out my retirement accounts, and put it all on ND not to win, at 1/800 (give the house its cut), I could stand to earn a whopping, um, forget it, I'll just stick it in a CD for four months.

Anyway, does anyone actually know if Vegas takes bets on the other side? Or do you just have to bet on the field to win, plus every school listed besides the one you expect to lose, which undoubtedly would be a money-losing proposition, even if you're right?

Back in August, I put down $20 (12:1 odds) on OU to win it all.

In March at Caesar's USC was +300, OU was 15:1. I got in on both:
