It is hard to say that Murray is as good as AP. I think Murray is more talented and soon will be better but AP has been more dominant this year. He has higher YPC. I think Murray has more TDs because they use him more than AP in goal line situations. That's my $.02

Patrick = Experience.

Murray = Potential.

Yeah. I hate that you found a much better way to say what I was trying to say.

Good point, you make some really good reasoned arguments as to why Murray is better. Thanks you really are a word smith.

AP has the experience and field vision, I want him to start the games. DM athletically is better and will become a better runner before his career is over.

We need to keep doing the 1-2 punch, much like Dallas uses JJ and Barber.

Chris Brown is causing me some concern tho, seems to miss the holes sometimes and runs into the backs of our blockers.

Allen Patrick is running with some serious passion right now. He's a north/south burner who isn't afraid to lower his shoulder.

DeMarco Murray has more moves, better hands and will probably end up being a better back.

Right now if I had to give the ball to one of them to get a first down on the road in a 3rd & 2 situation, it'd be AP.

I agree with your 3rd and 2 analysis but it seems the coaches are using Chris Brown in those situations..

At first I would have said DM with potential, but AP has really impressed me as of late. It's close, but I say AP.

Patrick is the best of the bunch while said millions of times before, that murray has more potential but thats expected whenever one is a SR and the other a FR...

Madu has crazy vision so look for him to close the gap between him and murray.. vision is so important cuz our line will get you holes you just got to know when and how to hit them..

You go ahead and argue this point.
Me? I'm just so dammed pleased with the fact that we can rotate and rotate and rotate fresh legs in and not lose a beat that I don't know how to express it.
That our coaches would have the commitment to do this from game one has been one of the nicest surprises and biggest plus points of the year.
And it sure won't hurt in recruiting, either.

Why do they call him AP? :confused:

I'm with Soonerus on the AP-DeMArco Tie...but I have to say DeMarco's gonna be better long term and not only because I'm in Vegas.

The guy has amazing potential that I think will show itself more and more through the season.

On the goal line, I'm giving it to Patrick. 4th and 25 with 1 second left and we're down by 6 on our own 10 yardline, I'm giving Murray the rock and telling everyone else to get the hell out of the way.

Allen Patrick is running with some serious passion right now. He's a north/south burner who isn't afraid to lower his shoulder.

AP lowered his shoulder on Tulsa linebackers a few times Friday, but didn't create the desired turtling effect and got maybe another yard or two when a headfake and footwork would have put him into open ground. It almost seemed like he was trying to create some of the same sort of plow-the-road highlights we saw from AD.

1. Allen Patrick
2. DeMarco Murray
3. Moses Madu
4. Gute
5. Chris Brown

If I had 3rd and 2 and needed a first down to kill the rest of the clock and win a game, I would want Chris Brown to run the ball in traffic. I would want AP on a stretch, and I would want Madu on a draw.

AP is stiil the best but DM7 is close,UPS is a length back,Madu would move up IF he got more quality time.Bottom line we have 4 studs at RB.

Isn't this only Chris Brown's second year? I think his upswing will continue to show this and next season. He's as tough as they come.

Murray is amazing at making folks miss.

Patrick still hits the gaps like a champion. He really impressed last year and he's continued to improve this year.

I just LOVE how deep we are back there.

One question... Which back does everyone think is best at Pass Protection?
