Greg Pruitt had a rushing average for a season of 9.41 in 1971, [Pruitt ran 1665 yards in 178 plays].
He had per rush [career] of 7.69 yards, 1970-71-72.
Not too shabby.

My only thing is...give him the damn ball more. Sorry...not going to mention names...I love all Sooner players...but Patrick should not be losing as many carries as he is to some "others" in the backfield. Just sayin'...

I comletely F'n agree! He should get about half the carries every game

Hmm I don't know, I like changing the running style up by using 4 different backs. Confuses the defense. I read on ESPN through 4 games last year AD and AP ran for 600+ yards, this year all four backs have run for 900+ yards, on just 10 carries more.
