But i have the utmost respect for #7 on ostates defense.. Any deaf person that can start on ANY D-1 football program is admirable.

It's cheating. He can't hear the crowd noise so he has an unfair advantage.

When Duante Culpepper was at Central Florida, his running back was a graduate of the Florida State School for the Deaf. One advantage, according to him, he was never confused as to the snap count.

Nebraska had a deaf DT in the late 80's/early 90's by the name of Kenny Walker. Any time he jumped offsides, we got an false start on the other team because he couldn't hear the count.

Not to take away from how cool this kid's story is, I have to crack a joke...

If disability is a reason for admiration if college ball, then UT players should all be heroes...they all seem to be functionally illiterate if not completely retarded.
