I was kind of hard on the Sooner DBs but they only let up two long TDs which is considerably less than Tulsa's been getting this season.

OU is ahead by forty plus points, and when is Tulsa going to get a chance to work against some high quality athletes before they go into conference play? They are well with in their rights to work on stuff to make their team better until the game is over. Why not try to end the game on a high note, and take that into the next week of practice?

What is it with these negspek hilljacks. Administration should be required to put who negspeks you. I made a comment about GH missing that FG and I wasn't comfortable with our D, only up 21, and got negspeked.

When else is the Tulsa back-up going to get work against as high of quality football players as OU fields. If OU doesn't want to play to the gun, they should have forfeited.

OU played sloppy at times during this game but got it together and pulled out another blow out.

Skelly Stadium should be plowed to the ground.
Nothing should be saved.
TU's attempt to revive the stadium is worse than what is happening in Stoolwater IMO...
I can't believe they spent money building that POS in the North Endzone.
Trading that for seats was a huge mistake IMO...

Yes trying to save that stadium is like trying to polish a 3 week old horse apple. It's awful. And this may have been previously answered but does Bob usually break out the defensive armbands? Perhaps he's not going to let the pass defense get out of hand anymore.

He only does when the defensive staff is really in a pickle. As you can see... we were in quite a pickle. Had TU any hint of defense, Paul Smith was on fire enough to beat us. I don't think in any way that we were bad, I just think PS was that good.

I'm guessing the bomb at the end of the game was their response to OU throwing on 3rd down and marching to another TD.

Tulsa has a very good scheme, and they have an excellent QB to run it. They'll throw for a lot against a lot of people.

Good game. Gave up a bit more yards and big throws than I would have expected, but they do have a great qb and offense.
